While tweaking shaders, textures and bump maps for tree bark and ivy, I set to create a ‘depth’ to the textures; for light to enter, bounce around inside, giving a sense of depth to the surface. However, not entirely successul, I did create an interesting example as to the difference of ‘light scattering’ on and off with this Ivy texture.
